Landscaping questions, answered.

How much does a new patio or landscape cost?
It depends on size, materials and how much digging and grading is needed. After the yard walk you get an itemized quote, and we can split a big plan into phases to suit your budget.
When should I book?
Design work happens all winter, so booking in January or February gets you a plan and a place on the spring build schedule.
Will a paver patio heave in Idaho winters?
Not if the base is right. We dig out, lay and compact gravel in layers, and slope the patio so water drains away. Heaving almost always comes from a thin or poorly compacted base.
What plants do well in Idaho Falls?
Plants that handle dry summers, cold winters and alkaline soil: native grasses, penstemon, sage, yarrow, serviceberry, chokecherry and many more. We pick for your yard's sun and space.
When should I blow out my sprinklers?
Before the first hard freeze, usually in October here. Water left in the lines can freeze and crack pipes and valves.
Do you do weekly mowing?
No. We focus on designing, building and sprinkler care, and can recommend local mowing crews.
